FR2.0 uses strict specifications such as sealed engine, single make tires, 3 non-interchangeable gear sets, and controlled suspension settings. This tight control makes FR 2.0 straightforward to race both in terms of budg...et and technical set up.Being an active series since 2000, the AFR Series (AFR) finished its 13th successful season in 2012. And for the 2013 season, AFR will continue to cooperate with Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) and organize all 4 weekends of races in 2013 in ZIC. With FRD’s sophisticated & effective promotional approach and massive support from the teams, drivers and partners, AFR will try to bring another brilliant season and lay down a solid foundation for more new development in 2013.

Driver Development Coach Roman Engel from Renault Sport provide precious physical and mental training to Road to Champion drivers Road to Champion drivers had just finished their second race of Asian Formula Renault China Series in Zhuhai. During the Pan Delta finale race weekend Roman Engel from Renault Sport Driver Development Program had made a visit to China and try to know more about these young drivers from their daily living style to exercising frequency. Moreover, he provided healthy menu and warmups to them before every session, so as to keep them away from injury. Roman explained that, “There are a lot of potential young drivers around the global, but they focused too much on the driving techniques but did not pay much attention to their body strengthen, which caused them suffering from having a stable lap time during the race. Since this is a very precious opportunity that FRD had chosen these 6 drivers out from hundreds and thousands of candidates, I hope I can teach them how to make themselves stronger and perform better during the race.” Six drivers were driving better than the first race in Shanghai, no matter from their lap time and driving style. By this moment, Marcus Song from S&D Motorsports is leading in the drivers’ table, but Li Qing Yuan is just 9 points away from Marcus which the last race in Zhuhai will be the critical championship battle. ... Pan Delta last round is upcoming with AFR China Series next week 2016 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival is coming to the last round on 17th September in Zhuhai International Circuit. Other than the exciting races from Circuit Hero and Red Bull Drifting Battle, Asian Formula Renault R9-R10 will be battling at the same time. Since Li Qing Yuan from BlackArts Racing and “Road to Champion Driver Program” was suffering from mechanical fault from last race in Shanghai International Circuit, Song Xu Je from S&D Motorsports is now standing at the top of the drivers list of “Road to Champion”, with two trophies from last race also. Song does not have any racing experience, but he took over 20 karting trophies last year, proving his ability and potential. At the same time Song was performing well from practice to race in Shanghai, which led him to the wonderful debut appearance in Asian Formula Renault. Song expressed that, “I was having a bad luck in the “Racing Star” selection a year ago, and I thought I will not be able to have another chance like that. During Pan Delta in June I was still envy of the drivers who could be involved in Asian Formula Renault. Three months later I won and took place in Asian Formula Renault through Road to Champion Driver Program by FRD. Miracle does exist, it all depends if you are able to catch it. Thank you FRD and all the team members from S&D Motorsports.” Class A driver Josh Burdon from BlackArts Racing is having a strong pace and a difference of 33 points with Najiy Ayyad from S&D Motorsports chasing from behind.
