It’s OFFICIAL! Bianca Bustamante is Coming to the US for a W Series 2022 Preseason Test | Asia Motorsports Network
It’s been quite a ride the last 6 months for teen Filipino karter turned racer Bianca Bustamante. Last September she was selected as the only Asia representative the FIA’s Girls on Track Rising Stars program where she participated in a three-day shootout at the Paul Ricard Circuit against 13 other talented young women from around the world. Now she’s been selected as one of 14 drivers to participate in the W Series preseason testing running January 31 – February 4, 2022 at Inde Motorsports Ranch, near Tucson, AZ. With limited experience in F4 machinery, her first stop when she arrive in the US will be in Southern California where she’ll spend a couple of days being coached by British driver Richard Lyons and the team from Doran-Kroll Competition.
Regardless of outcome, this is a shining achievement for one of Asia’s Rising Stars and shows the possibilities that exist for both female and male young talents in the Philippines and across Asia.
